Alabama’s dramatic victory over LSU on Saturday night averaged 9.109 million viewers and a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating for CBS. That easily surpassed Ohio St. vs. Michigan State in head-to-head competition. The Big 10 game averaged 6.825M viewers and a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating for ABC.
LeBron and the Cavaliers vs. Nuggets led ESPN to the top of cable sports on Friday. With numerous networks and telecasts I’m playing around with the sort format. Note: in preliminary non-Timezone adjusted Nielsen Fast Nationals, Alabama/LSU averaged 8.4 million viewers. But the meat of the game — the fourth quarter and overtime — went well past primetime.
