Crain’s reports that through 21 Chicago Blackhawks telecasts on Comcast SportsNet Chicago the games are averaging a 4.05 local household rating (~141,000 TV households), a tad lower than last year’s average through the same point (4.26).
The December 16th game vs. the Minnesota Wild scored a season-high 5.53 rating. That was the highest-rated Blackhawks game on CSN since last January (5.81 on 1/14/14 vs. Colorado).
According to the Crains report, WGN which has aired 12 games out of a 20 game package declined to disclose any ratings info.
