Updated: Blackhawks-Lightning Game 6 is most-watched NHL game since 2013

 

Update: the game averaged 8.005 million viewers, slightly less than the 8.2 million for game 6 of Blackhawks-Bruins in game 6 of 2013. The game did a 4.4/8 national household rating/share and a 2.8/10 adults 18-49 rating/share.

The Chicago Blackhawks 2-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning to win the Stanley Cup Final four games to two drew a 5.6 overnight household rating, which is the 3rd-best Stanley Cup Final Game 6 on record since 1995 and ties the Blackhawks’ 2013 Game 6 win.

The Chicago market drew a massive 41.0 household rating (% of all homes with TVs) with a 57 share (% of homes watching TV).
