Buccaneers-Cowboys ‘Sunday Night Football’ posts best week 15 overnight rating since 2008 (Updated)

 

Update: the game averaged 24.2 million viewers on NBC and per NBC that was the 3rd-highest for a week 15 primetime game since 1995 and up 34 percent versus last year’s Cardinals-Eagles week 15 Sunday Night Football matchup.

The Dallas Cowboys win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on ‘Sunday Night Football’ drew a 15.3/25 overnight rating/share (15.3% of the homes in the biggest 56 markets watched the game and 25% of the homes watching TV at the time were tuned-in.)

That was the best week 15 overnight rating in 8 years (15.4 for Giants/Cowboys in 2008) and up 31% from last year’s week 15 game (Cardinals-Eagles) that drew a 11.7.

The game peaked with 15.9/29 overnight rating share from 11-11:30 PM ET.
