The New England Patriots win over the Pittsburgh Steelers posted a 17.7/30 overnight rating/share per NBC Sports. That ties the record for the NFL Kickoff Game with 2010’s game and is 5% better than last year’s Kickoff game. Update: the 2015 game averaged 10.9 million viewers (tying the low in 2012) and set a new low with a 6.6 national household rating. PBC Boxing primetime NBC overnight down 4% from April 11 telecast and 26% from March 7 premiere

PBC Boxing in Primetime scored a 1.86 overnight rating.  That’s down 4% from the 1.94 overnight rating on April 11th in primetime and down 26% from PBC’s primetime premiere on March 7 that scored a 2.53 overnight rating. Update: the race averaged 8.9 million viewers, down 7% versus 2014. American Pharoah won the second leg of horse racing’s triple crown at The Preakness which drew a 5.8 overnight rating on Saturday.
