Chicago Blackhawks: best household rating on WGN since return to the network in 2008


Sunday night’s January 4, 2015 NHL matchup  where the Chicago Blackhawks edged the Dallas Stars in overtime averaged an 8.2 household rating locally on WGN-TV in Chicago. On average of 286,200 households and 421,900 viewers were tuned in.

That was the highest rating for a Blackhawks’ game on WGN (which has a 20 game package this season) since the Blackhawks returned to WGN in 2008.

The game peaked with 12 a rating.
