Cubs > Election as FS1 wins the week in primetime cable network TV ratings rankings for the week ending October 16, 2016

I long ago stopped posting these regularly because they don’t change enough week-to-week to be all that interesting (to me.)

But this week was interesting!

Fueled by four primetime Cubs games, FS1 not only beat ESPN in primetime and total day viewership, it led all of cable in primetime viewership — and it wasn’t close. In primetime viewership FS1 led its nearest competitor Fox News by more than a million viewers (3.648M versus 2.494M.)

And yap away about how baseball skews old, but FS1 still led all primetime cable in adults 18-49 viewing for the week (ESPN was #2.)
