Cubs-Indians Game 1 averages 19.4 million viewers, up 30% versus 2015 Mets-Royals


The Cleveland Indians win over the Chicago Cubs in game 1 of the 2016 World series averaged 19.368 million viewers. That’s up 30 percent vs game 1 of the Mets-Royals World Series in 2015 that averaged 14.9 million viewers.  The game fell just shy of the 19.5 million for game 1 of the Yankees-Phillies series in 2009.
