That’s the best World Series second game number since 2009 when the Phillies versus Yankees drew a 13.6 overnight rating. Per Fox sports the overnight rating was up 22% from the 9.3 for game 2 of last year’s Royals-Mets series and 28% from the 8.8 overnight for game 2 of Giants Royals in 2014.
In Cleveland the game averaged a 38.9/55 rating/share for Game 2, while Chicago posted a 35.4/52.
