Cubs-Mets NLCS Game 1 averages 7.9 million viewers

 

Last night’s game 1 of the National League Championship Series between the Chicago Cubs and New York Mets averaged 7.9 million viewers with peak viewing of 9.3 million from 10-10:15 p.m. ET.

It was the most-watched NLCS game 1 ever on TBS and up 46% versus 2013’s NLCS game 1 on TBS (St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers – 5.4 million total viewers) and up 34% versus last year’s ALCS Game 1 on TBS (Kansas City vs. Baltimore – 5.9 million total viewers).
