Georgia’s defeat of Louisville in the Belk Bowl averaged 6.414 million viewers and a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating on ESPN to lead all the cable sports networks (as well as all of cable) on Tuesday. ESPN easily leads cable sports networks for 2014

Surprising nobody, ESPN easily won cable sports network bragging rights for calendar year 2014* in total viewership and adults 18-49, both in primetime and for total day rankings. In primetime viewership ESPN  led all cable networks beating out USA Network 2.321 million to 2.128 million. Arkansas’s 31-7 beating of Texas in the Texas Bowl on ESPN topped Monday cable sports with 5.758 million viewers and a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating. Clemson’s win over Oklahoma in the Citrus Bowl averaged 4.896 million viewers and a 1.51 adults 18-49 rating.
