Haven’t seen the full day’s data yet but looks like the College World Series game between Florida and Virginia led all cable sports viewership for Saturday with 1.085 million viewers on ESPN. In Women’s World Cup on Fox Sports 1 China-Cameroon averaged 1.045 million viewers and Germany-Sweden averaged 912,000. Third primetime PBC on NBC telecast averages 2.3 million, the primetime ratings trend is not PBC’s friend

Saturday’s primetime PBC Boxing telecast on NBC averaged 2.3 million viewers. While the overnight rating (which measures only the top 56 markets) was down just 4% from the second primetime PBC telecast on NBC on April 11, national viewership was down 21% versus the 2.9 million the April 11 telecast averaged. Worse still Saturday’s 2.3 million average was down 45% from the 4.2 million the premier telecast on March 7.

U.S. Open Golf final round viewing down 43% vs last open played on West Coast

Sunday’s coverage on Fox averaged 6.7 million viewers. Jordan Spieth golf superstar? Not so much yet, at least as far as TV ratings are concerned. Fox’s Saturday U.S. Open Golf Championship viewership fared 33% better than NBC’s coverage last year, which included no primetime coverage. PBC Boxing primetime NBC overnight down 4% from April 11 telecast and 26% from March 7 premiere

PBC Boxing in Primetime scored a 1.86 overnight rating.  That’s down 4% from the 1.94 overnight rating on April 11th in primetime and down 26% from PBC’s primetime premiere on March 7 that scored a 2.53 overnight rating.
