Propelled by ALDS action and USA-Mexico soccer, FS1 jumped into second place in both primetime and total day viewing for the week with a comfortable lead over NFL Network and ESPN2 in primetime. Although the NLDS games have drawn many more viewers than the ALDS, since TBS isn’t primarily a sports network I don’t include it in these rankings. USA-Mexico CONCACAF playoff match averages 1.6 million viewers on FS1 and 5.1 million on Univision/Univision Deportes

The United States extra time loss to Mexico in Saturday’s CONCACAF Cup playoff match averaged 1.561 million viewers on FS1 and 5.1 million viewers across Univision and Univision Deportes (the Univision Deportes amount was 994,000). Update: per Fox Sports’ Lou D’ermillio, the 1.6 million viewers was an FS1 record for soccer outside of Women’s World Cup matches.
