ESPN easily bests the competition (and all of cable in advertiser-friendly demos) in FY2016


ESPN & ESPN2 topped the other nationally measured cable sports network competition for its fiscal year ending September 30.



In primetime, ESPN trailed only Fox News in viewership and led all cable networks in the ad-friendly adults under age 50 and age 55:


In September, aside from NFL Network and ESPN Networks, ESPN’s average viewership via its digital streaming channels was greater than all other cable sports networks TV viewership:
