Game 6 of Warriors-Cavs NBA Finals draws 14.1 overnight rating, down 11% from 2015

 

The Cleveland Cavaliers bested the Golden State Warriors to even the series at three games apiece and the game drew a 14.1 overnight rating. That’s down 11% down from last year’s game 6  when the Warriors clinched the series and drew a 15.9 overnight rating. The game peaked with a 16.7 rating.

The game averaged a 44.3 rating in the Cleveland market and a 34.9 rating in the San Francisco market (which includes Oakland and San Jose.)

Overnight household rating = the live+same day DVR overnight metered-market household rating from the top 56 Nielsen television markets. The 56 markets (out of 210 total) account for about 70% of the US TV-viewing population. The  overnight household rating is  the percentage of the households that were tuned-in in those markets
