Lightning-Blackhawks Stanley Cup Final Gm 4 does a 2.9 overnight rating


The Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning in game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final to even the series at 2 games apiece averaged a 2.9 (2.93) overnight rating, That edges out Game 3 as the 2nd highest overnight rating for a Stanley Cup Final game ever on NBCSN

The rating was 6% higher than last year’s game 4 which was a potential series clincher.  Top local market ratings:

  1. Chicago: 22.2
  2. Tampa: 13.9
  3. Buffalo: 5.3
  4. Providence: 3.9
  5. Boston: 3.7

Overnight household rating = the live+same day DVR overnight metered-market household rating from the top 56 Nielsen television markets. The 56 markets (out of 210 total) account for about 70% of the US TV-viewing population. The  overnight household rating is  the percentage of the households that were tuned-in in those markets
