Michigan-Ohio State draws 16.6 million, 52% better than Notre Dame-Texas

 

Update: the game drew 16.647 million viewers on ABC the most on ABC for a regular season game since Michigan and Ohio State played in 2006 when they were ranked #1 & #2 respectively and the game averaged 21.037 million.  More detail via ESPN.

Ohio State’s win over Michigan in double overtime drew a 10.4 overnight rating, easily the best of the season (the next best was Notre Dame-Texas on September 4 with a 7.0 overnight rating).

The game averaged 279,000 viewers via streaming, also making it the most-streamed college football game ever.
