NBCSN puts a rare primetime beatdown on ESPN, FS1 tops ESPN in prime too in sports network rankings for the week ending June 14, 2015

Since launching this site in early November of 2014 there hasn’t been a single week we can remember where ESPN didn’t win out across-the-board in these rankings. Sometimes a network or 3 could surpass ESPN2 for a week here and there, but ESPN stood alone at the top.

Not so in primetime for the week ending June 14 where fueled by two Stanley Cup Final games NBCSN won out in total viewers and adults 18-49 by comfortable margins. Fueled by Women’s World Cup (yes, really) even Fox Sports 1 managed to pass ESPN in primetime viewership though ESPN still led comfortably in adults 18-49.

It wasn’t a total loss for the Worldwide Leader though, it won the total day sweepstakes for the week in both viewers and adults 18-49.
