That just means on average 28.2% of the households in the 56 metered markets were tuned-in to the game and on average 48% of the people watching TV in those markets at the time were watching the game.
Fox says that’s the best overnight rating for a divisional NFL playoff game on any network in 20 years.
The Pittsburgh Steelers win over the Kansas City Chiefs drew a 21.9 overnight rating the best ever primetime overnight rating for a divisional or Wild Card round according to NBC.
