ESPN (as ever) dominates cable sports networks for week ending November 30, 2014

NBC Sports Network had less primetime viewership than the Golf channel for the week. Even given a holiday week that seems pretty sad for NBCSN, but at least it won out over Golf in primetime with adults 18-49. Knicks vs. Mavericks NBA action on ESPN led the cable sports nets on Wednesday night, with 1.25 million viewers (less than half of the previous week’s 2.65 million viewers for Cavs/Spurs). Auburn-Alabama Draws 13.5 million viewers, best of any college football game this season.

Saturday’s Iron Bowl averaged 13.529 million viewers, making it the most-watched game on any network this college football season. It was the most-watched and highest-rated (7.4) regular season college football game on record for ESPN (since 1990). Earlier in the season Notre Dame vs. Florida State averaged 13.251 million on ABC so the Disney-owned nets own the top two games of the season so far.
