ESPN’s final CFP (college football playoff) announcement show scored a 3.4 overnight household rating for the 12:30-1:00 p.m. portion of the telecast on Sunday where teams were announced. The full 2.5 telecast averaged a 1.6 rating.

The Florida State/Georgia Tech ACC championship drew a 6.9 overnight household rating. That’s the best ever for the ACC championship game according to ABC/ESPN, and up big from last year’s 3.8. The SEC Championship between Alabama and Missouri scored a 7.7 overnight rating.
