Rangers-Lightning Game 4 draws 1.35 overnight rating, up 13% vs 2014

 

Per NBC Sports, Friday night’s coverage of game 4 of NHL’s Eastern Conference Finals where the New York Rangers won to even their series with the Tampa Bay Lightning at two games apiece averaged a 1.35 household rating on NBC Sports Network.  That’s up 13 percent vs the comparable game in 2014.

Locally, in the Tampa Bay market the game averaged a 7.9 household rating and in New York City the game averaged a 5.5 rating.

Overnight household rating = the live+same day DVR overnight metered-market household rating from the top 56 Nielsen television markets. The 56 markets (out of 210 total) account for about 70% of the US TV-viewing population. The  overnight household rating is  the percentage of the households that were tuned-in in those markets.
