The Baltimore Ravens victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers averaged a 17.3 overnight rating with a 29 share. Update: the game averaged 28.0 million viewers.

According to NBC Sports that’s the second best for a Saturday AFC Wild Card in the past 6 seasons trailing only Jets-Colts on 1/8/11; 20.8/33.

Not surprisingly Pittsburgh and Baltimore led the local markets.
