That’s up 27% from last year’s Spurs-Thunder game 2 (on TNT) and up 47% since the last time ESPN televised the Western Conference Finals in 2013 (Spurs-Grizzlies where game 2 drew a 3.8 overnight).

In both the San Francisco and Houston markets, the telecast generated a 15.9 rating. In San Francisco, this is the second-highest rated NBA game (non-Finals) ever in the market. In Houston, it ranks fifth all-time among highest-rated NBA games (non-Finals) in the market.
Golden State-Houston Game 2 generated an average minute audience of 127,161, which makes it the fourth-best ever for an NBA game on WatchESPN.
