Even in California we’ve seen a fair number of Seattle Seahawks “12th Man” flags flying in January/February the last few years. We chalked it up to happy Seattle expats celebrating their team’s playoff runs.
But this fine work from Austin Karp at the Sports Business Journal still jumped out at us. Karp chronicled the local market rating averages for all NFL teams over the last few years. Since 2011 local TV viewing in Seattle has jumped up a whopping 94%.
