Update: CBS said the final round coverage on Sunday averaged 14 million viewers according to Nielsen fast national ratings. Up big from last year’s 11.1 million  when Tiger didn’t play but down from the 14.7 million in 2013. Masters Third-Round Coverage Scores Best Overnight Rating since 2011

Saturday’s coverage of The Masters on CBS drew a 6.5/16 overnight household rating/share, up 48% from the 4.4/11 for last year’s coverage when Tiger Woods didn’t play. It was the highest third-round overnight for CBS since 2011 when it scored a 6.8/16 rating/share. Saturday’s coverage peaked with a 7.0/17 rating/share from 5-6pm ET.
