Ah, Friday when the announcement of Tim Tebow’s return to the NFL was still a few days away. ESPN’s ‘Pardon the Interruption’ topped the cable sports coverage with 774,000 viewers and a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating. That the MLS season opener between the LA Galaxy and Chicago Fire averaged 341,000 viewers and was up 44% in total viewers versus last year’s season opener on NBC Sports Network was moderately interesting to us.
