ESPN’s coverage of The Open Golf Championship second round from St. Andrews led a slow cable sports day with an average of 1.77 million viewers at any minute from 7:03am to 5:17pm ET. The Univision Deportes simulcast of the Mexico/Trinidad & Tobago Gold Cup match led Wednesday’s cable sports programming with 1.117 million viewers and a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating.  The combined UniMás broadcast network including  Univision Deportes  was 2.869 million viewers and a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating.
