Both John Ourand of Sports Business Journal and Richard Deitsch from Sports Illustrated are reporting that the 2015 Women’s World Cup Final where USA defeated Japan 5-2 to win the tournament averaged a stunning 25.4 million viewers on Fox, setting records for soccer viewership in the United States.
