Women’s College World Series Finals setting ratings records on ESPN

Game one of the Michigan-Florida finals on Monday night was the most-watched Women’s College World Series Final game ever on ESPN with 1.542 million viewers topping  2009 Washington vs Florida (1.412 million).

Tuesday’s game 2 drew a 1.2 overnight (we haven’t seen viewership yet), the best overnight for a WCWS Finals game 2 since 2007 (Tennessee-Arizona) which had a 1.4 overnight household rating.

Tonight’s game 3 marks only the fourth time the decisive game has been necessary.
